Find the Rainbow!

I just picked this up on a hunch. I already have a 1925 PCGS MS65 with golden patina and rainbow rim toning, that is simply beautiful. This coin could be the same based on it's described. BUT, I have a hard time finding the rainbow around the rim. Maybe it's my computer monitor or color adjustments. If it's there I got a great deal.

Help -- Can anyone see a rainbow?

Rainbow? Peace $

Thanks

Michael

Thats weird. The coin in the slab doesnt look like the closeup of the obv.
I see grape-flavored toning at 12 and 6 on the slabbed but the closeup looks like a blastwhite to me.
    Weird.

Dont you know, that you have to go to the Emerald City, in the

Land of Oz, to find the rainbow.Everyone knows that.
There once was a place called
    Camelotimage

It's funny, now that I'm home I can kinda see it. If it is how I think (hope) it is, it'll be a great coin for my set. I post pics once I get it. I wonder if I can get it into a NGC 66 slab or maybe a 65 *

    Thanks for the help,

    Michael
  • I think it's on the left rim of the Obv. it looks like a different color there than other parts of the coin, good luck, let us know what it looks like when you get it.

Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

Here's my 1925 for comparison, I think the toning looks similar. In person this rainbow is much more dramatic and pronounced. Look at the obverse rims of the 1926, you can see a band of red around most of the rim.

I can see it on that one. The one I circled looks like the light might be might be to bright to see the color.
