I had posted this to another thread involving bbycoin and scamcrook:

Good news - I see "bbycoin" is no longer a registered user on Ebay!

Maybe bidders asked him why someone by the name of "scamcrook" was bidding on some of his coins? I wonder what his next identity will be?

Congrats to anyone who helped. image

If it was a multiple ID, then I'd guess hey got NARUed for using fake contact info.

So it's no longer bbycoin. What will it be next time? hlocoin?
  • It's too bad that you can't make money getting people NARU'd on ebay, otherwise I'd be rolling in the dough. I am 2 for 2 this week getting people NARU'd.

A few days ago I got riraceway NARU'd for using the account morganmotors1 to shill his auctions.

On Saturday night, after reading the thread here about easyman/bbycoin, I went on ebay and compiled a list of evidence linking the accounts of easyman3557, bbycoin, pikach33ks and gallery001. The mistake that easyman made was using both pikach33ks and gallery001 as shills in his auctions. In the past month, gallery001 bid on about 85 auctions, 77 of which were run by easyman3557 while the other 8 were run by bbycoin. In the same period, pikach33ks bid on about 70 auctions, all but one were run by easyman3557. That alone is suspicious but I dove deeper into the bidding. I checked 80 of easyman's auctions for the past month. In 40 of the auctions the starting bid was $20 or higher. pikach33ks/gallery001 bid on 3 of them (in a manner that looked like he was bumping up another bdder's proxy). In the other 40 auctions the starting bid was $1. gallery001/pikach33ks bid on all but 2 of these. Basically, easyman was using the shill accounts to put in a hidden minimum while making the auctions look like they started at $1. Ebay really frowns on this. Another bit of evidence came when I noticed that easyman decided to start selling the same asian silk water-color paintings that gallery001 had been selling, interesting coincidence, eh?

I sent all of the evidence that I collected to SafeHarbor and they apparently agreed that the evidence was overwhelming. So now 3 out of the 4 accounts have been NARU'd. They didn't NARU pikach33ks for some reason. They also did not NARU the morganmotors1 account so perhaps they only do it for the accounts that have been used to sell items. I am glad that they NARU'd bbycoin. Although it was obvious that bbycoin and easyman were the same, the evidence was not as strong as the evidence linking the other 3.

At least easyman is gone for now.
