Good Catch on a 65 NB coin. Not real easy to find either. But then are any of the dates before 34 with the exception of a few P mint coins ? You had better luck than myself yesterday. image

    Ken,

The reverse on that dime, is it a die clash, or posibly a multistrike, or???

Struck thru debris I believe. Pretty big piece also. I usually do not buy stuff like this but this one was so visible that I had to have it. It will go with the nice 20P die clash dime that has been here for a year or so. Oh yea the Whizzed 29S is also in this batch of different coins. image

    Hi Tony,

Nice find! Not nearly as softly struck as many I have seen. I'm looking for that one also. Hoping to find a nice 64FB.

Wow Ken, that is really a neat error! What do you think, die grease maybe?

I have made my first submission to PCGS. Sent in 8 Mercs on Friday. It will be interesting to see what kind of grades I get. I did have some great help in deciding what to send in. Now the waiting begins!

    Wayne,

It has partial bands--Oh maybe about 60 to 70%.

    Hi Tony,

Yes, the reverse looks extremely nice for a no bands dime. For what you paid, I think you will look back on this as a bargain someday! Nice luster and eye appeal, and the kind of toning that speaks volumns!
