there are 2 companies cga and cgc, slabbing currency. neither are of any repute. both are independent of any coin slabbing companies.

Cointageous statement is incorrect. Browse the CU and NGC sites and the proof will be before your eyes. These companies are under the CU and NGC corporate umbrellas.

I just checked the CU main page, and the only thing they had listed uner currency was Lyn Knight. Does a CU company slab paper currency?

Make that three that slab currency CGA, CGC, and RCGS. None of them are associated with a company that also slabs coins, but so what.

(There is also a firm that slabs die-cast cars. one that slabs action figure toys, and two that slab Beanie Babies. And of course a whole sh*tload of companies that slab sportscards.)
