My nerves are shot right now so rather than hitting the bottle or eating and getting even fatter, I thought a better way to find something to smile about to help face the stuff i'm dealing with right now would be to look at some really mind blowing coin pics like the trade dollar mark posted a few days ago or gemini's seated half or the 13 liberty nickle that legend just got or whatever jaw droppers you can post. barberlover

1875 Proof 3¢ Nickel
Double Struck in Collar
PCGS PROOF 64 Unique
All major proof errors are extremely rare. Major Proof Errors on century old type coins are unheard of. This gem Proof 3¢ Nickel was actually triple struck in the collar with a 10% rotation between strikes. The doubling on all three strikes is very obvious and is quite dramatic. 1875 was a low proof mintage for 3¢ Nickels with approximately 700 struck. To date, this Major Proof Type Error is unique for the series.

fc57, WOW!!! those morgans are spectacular, thanks for sharing. By the way, i'm not sure if it was you are bull dog that pm'd me yesterday so if i responded to the wrong person my appoligies, but i've been kind of out of it the last couple days, i responded to bulldog, but it might have been you and i can certainly can use all the advise i can get right now, if it was you pm me again.

Thanks Gemini, looking at that half again is much better than going to a bar and getting plastered.

Also Anaconda, yes i like proof barber halves if they have the right look. The very first one showing someone holding it is the one i like the best. I sure hope my pretty barbers don't have to be sold, but they'll be the last things to go if i have to.
