Two for two on * W NGC coins.

But you know what? I wish I'd have just kept them where they were (even though the PCGS value is much higher). I like the "W" and the " * " and am now discovering that NGC doesn't give out these designators as often as I was then afraid they would.

Just bought a coin from a dealer that crossed it the first time - nice! Couldn't attend the auction so missed out on the "wholesale" price.

i love ngc coins i love pcgs coins just a plus to have the coins in either holders with the corrdct grade on the holders and/or in undergraded holders even better!

and if with monster eye appeal even better better better!!

but it is all about the coin not the holder

you will see this more and more as the years pass!!

    sincerely michael
  • A have a few 66 and 67* Washingtons that are really pretty and have no desire to cross them. I do wish I could figure out how to value a '*' coin though. Anyone have any insight?

We are finite beings, limited in all our powers, and, hence, our conclusions are not only relative, but they should ever be held subject to correction. Positive assurance is unattainable. The dogmatist is the only one who claims to possess absolute certainty.
