How do you insert a photo into a post

How do you insert a photo into a posting so that it comes up with the page and you don't have to link to it? When i click on the picture icon, it asks for a URL, how do you insert a pciture you just scanned that is not posted on the web.

You can't insert one that isn't hosted on the web. Has to be on a publicly accessible server. You can use the attachment feature, though, by pulling the image off of your hard drive.

On second thought, you might be able to do it by using the attachment feature first, than grab that URL and pasting it in.

Just click the little picture icon, 4th over on the left and insert your URL.

You can't. You have to have the photo uploaded to a site. I know there are some free websites that lets you upload pictures to. I use my personal business website and also www.andale.com lets you to but for a fee of $3 per month.

Maybe someone else knows of a few free webhost for your pictures.

I crop and resize using a program called Thumbs Plus. If you don't have any software, though, you can do it using Microsoft Paint in the image - stretch/skew feature.

Um, I am rusty, but I think the IPA would be --> [foyktvangir] -- actually, I can't do the 'n' with the little tail, so 'ng' will have to suffice.
