Finally: 100% complete on two Jefferson sets; My thanks to many

It has taken both some time and coin, but with the acquisition of a 1973, I have completed both the basic 1938-to-present Jeff proof set (7th Finest) LINK and the basic 1965-to-present Jeff modern proofs (11th Finest). It has been tremendous fun to become a registry member and reap the knowledge of the Jeff proof gang on these boards, as well as coins from a few members. Thanks are due to Carl, Jeff Werlin, Rick Tomaska, David Hall Rare Coins, Heritage and others. And, a special thanks to my friend BNE for passing along a few superlative "hand me downs.'' My gratitude to all and thanks for a great trip! But, I am not going anywhere ... I still need a lot of upgrades!

Thanks, guys! I have upgrades planned for the Jeffs and my early Roosevelt proofs will be 100 percent complete once PCGS completes a current submission ... if I live that long! I also want to complete my modern type proof and see if I can make a bigger dent in 20th Century proof. Also, while I only have a few slabs, I am seriously thinking about the the MS Jeff set ... When the aforementioned submission is done, I also will have three complete early Jeff proof sets and tons of extras, so it will be time to begin selling to raise some cash for something new...

I well know the challenge FS Jeffs would be, as evidenced by your great set! I have two complete raw MS Jeff sets and tons of multiples and so very few of them are FS (before I worried about the strike) it is almost discouraging ...

My gratitude to all who contributed ... including those I did not recall either directly -- or by extension! And, monsta, sorry my gain was at your loss ... I know you to be a tried and true Jeff numismatist with a wonderful set, as well ... There are not that many complete sets, guys, we are at the vanguard of a rush to come, particularly with a redesigned reverse.

"Seventh" all time....Wait! Didn't I used to be "seventh" all time. Congratulations Randy on a very nice collection. I have watched you build that set from its start....knowing it was just a matter of time before the Nickel Triumph set was below it. Have you checked out the L S Brown, Jeff's Nicks, PAO and even the Georgia Collections? Some very respectible sets headed towards the top. Again...congratulations and I admire your committment to coin collecting and the Jefferson series.
