I don't understand how they got around the listing fees. Did they have to change their EBAY profile?

I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.

    Acowa:

You do not have to change your eBay profile to sell on other eBay sites. I regularyly sell on ebay.de, the German equivalent. All my auctions start and end in Euros and I am invoiced in the USD equivalent to euros on the days my auction ends. The only thing I have to do differently to list on the site is read the German instructions and write some German descriptions. It works out well for me as I am able to cater to a wider audience. I sell sports items, but not cards.

So, how do you get to the German interface?

If you are asking how I get to the German site to begin to buy and sell, that is simple. On the eBay home page, in the bottom left corner, there are their international links. Follow the link to Germany and you will be taken to the eBay.de site. From there, one moves around in the same fashion as they would at home.

I am already getting hate mail about the prices i used. Being the typical Yank, I have no idea what the conversion rates are to US dollars. Needless to say...some of my prices are fairly high.

    Alan:

I recently won a UK auction that provided a great conversion tool in the item description for international buyers to use.

Hatemail or not: I just sold my first and probably last transaction in British pounds ever ... a 1952 Topps #51 Jim Russell for $95.48. So much for the test.
