Deepanalysis Anyone have experience with this?

I have been looking at this very deeply.

LINKLINK

Its $179 and its pricing, before I throw the cash into it I want to make it works well.
I have a coin database set up and a web user interface for it. I just need to be able to import the Ebay final sales data.

Please let me know if you have worked with this.

THanks all

  • Never used it, but I checked out the forums. There seem to be issues with program lag as the searches are real-time. Not sure if that woould be an issue for you or not, as I assume this is going up to your server for use on the website? Also, it looks like an upgrade is due any day now (early March target).

Grab the demo and give it a try?

  • Yeah this will be used on the website, I have the SQL script already made and to put into action. Ive used the demo but the export to Database is not available in the demo.

If the app was $100 i would do it right now.

  • I believe I already mentioned this on your board, however, I will re-iterate here. There is a 30 day trial available. I highly recommend you download it and try it. I have and I can tell you first hand that the issues are real. The real time nature of this application and its method of data farming leave much to be desired. Too often the data collected is corrupt or empty due to program failures. If you plan to use the collected data from this application to populate your coin price guide, you will be spending more time weeding out bad records than adding quality data. Two thumbs down from me.

Regarding the lag: I am on a 2megabit pipe with a clean clear connection to the eBay servers and the lag is simply unbearable. I definately wouldn't toss $179.00 dollars of my hard earned money their way. The only real use I see for this application is for market analysis for the would be seller. Even then you would have to deal with the above mentioned issues in order to utilize the program for its intended use.

This is my opinion from first hand use and should be taken as such. image

EDIT: I was in the process of posting this and didnt get to read your reply before hand. The export to database feature does not support any particular database, moreover it only supports export to db (like) format. ie comma delimited entities. So if you have a script already written, you would need to rewrite it to read an excel (like) format.
