Two Photos on One Scan...How's it Done?

May be a silly question, but I have yet to figure out how to get an Obverse and Reverse photo on to one Scan/Photo upload etc. Registry takes only one picture per....anyone with advice & instructions please?

I bring my images into Paint, do a copy and paste of the two images into one shot.

I have Corel PhotoPaint 8 and I use the "stitch" feature where you list the images you want to stitch together and then it does it for you. You just have to line them up.

  • I use Microsoft Image Composer (came with Frontpage 2000).

Cut and paste (or Click Insert, File) to bring the images into the workspace.

Resize or crop the photos as necessary, and drag them into position.

    Click Edit, Select all

Click View, Fit composition space to selection

Use Save as to make a new name for the file

I'm sure other imaging programs offer the same features. Hope that helps.

  • I have Picture It Express (the single worst photo editing software available). I create a collage with two coin photos. After lining the photos up, I send the image to Adobe, trim it and size it. The result is an obverse and reverse.

My software is terrible though. It is pure luck if I don’t end up with a scanner artifact in the image.

    Marc-

Have you heard of software or do you still believe in magic?

I use the "stitch" feature of ArcSoft PhotoImpression. This the the one feature which appears to be missing from Microsoft PhotoEditor.

thanks for the comments, I've tried stitch with Dell Image software I have, evidently I have not read instrcutions as I get a messy obv & reverse always..makes no sense to me. But I'll experiment with some of your suggestions out there, thanks for the help gentlemen image.

Relayer, I started by stating this may be a silly question, I do not have the luxury of too much extra time to lurk into references and so on....
PC, Will follow the PM too, hopefully it'll be a quickie image thanks.
