Yup - I noticed it. But, I was also surprised that it was a 10 with that slight diamond cut to it. The centering is not as nice as my 9. If I'm going to spend a couple $k to upgrade a major card to 10 - it better look better than what I have. So, I won't bother anyone trying for it!

Wow. . .someone else who buys the card and not the holder. I thought I was alone in this thinking.

Where have you been hiding Frank?

  • The last one sold on Ebay for about $2400. I'll bet this one will be close and maybe even a little short of that.

  • I paid $1,750 for mine, and there are still quite a few Series 3 unopened in circulation so I think that 2.5k or above would be pretty crazy given that there should be a few more coming out of the new boxes when they get broken.
Collector of baseball PSA sets from the 1970's & hockey rookie cards; big New York Rangers fan (particularly now that they are sleeping with the enemy with Holik and Kaspiritus). Also starting to collect 53 Bowman Color as I think they are the most beautiful cards I have seen.
