I was haggling over a couple of other coins, and the dealer was totaling them up, and I sort of spotted it out of the corner of my eye...It was one of those wierd "Impulse Buy" moments...just sort of casually said..."throw that 56 Washington in too!" I think it turned out to be the best buy of the day!

Now THAT is a beautiful quarter. I have one that sort of thinks it comes close to looking like that, but the colors are nowhere near as vibrant and alive. Think it was from an original mint set?

i was looking at buying a couple toned washingtons myself.

i decided not to because it didn't strike me as correct color. so i checked so of his other auctions and he's selling a WLH that's a shoo-in AT candidate.
