eBAY - Buy It *Now* Feature

I was wondering. Do you have to be a power seller to use this multiple item auction with Buy It Now ? Something like this: AUCTION

I cannot find any info to let me know what I need. All the auction say is that you can only enter 1 item to use buy it now.

Comments

  • This is not an "auction" so to speak. It is a "fixed price" auction. When you do those you can have however many quantity you want. There can only be one price. Hope that helped.

  • use is restricted, but I don't think it has anything to do with Powersellers

  • From eBay (couldn't link to it...)

    Fixed Price Format

When you list an item with the Fixed Price format:
Buyers can purchase your item or items without waiting, at the price you set.
There is no bidding and no auction-style listing; you're just offering one or more items for sale at a Buy It Now price.
If you qualify, you can sell multiple identical items in one listing.
Buyers will find your listing in category browse pages and search results, highlighted with the Buy It Now icon.
Insertion and Final Value fees apply.

    Note:
You must have a feedback rating of 10 or more (or be ID Verified) to list your item in a Fixed Price listing with a quantity of one. To create a Fixed Price listing with a quantity of two or more, you must have a feedback rating of 30 or more and be a registered user for at least 14 days (or be ID Verified).

I found all the information stated above, but do not know how to enable the fixed price format. When setting up the sell item form, it gives you no indication that you can enter a fixed item amount. The only thing I am able to do is sell by Dutch auction. How do enable the Fix Price sale format?

  • You must change your format. It isn't an auction type, it's a fixed price listing. When you first see the sell item form, you need to click on the back up arrow at the bottom of the page.
