Possible Interesting Study?

I just saw this in the registry set forum: "Fact: in a newsletter PCGS just sent to its dealers, its crossover rate is back down to 27%."
I don't have the information to do this, but I think it might be very interesting to chart the crossover rate and the Coin Dealer Newsletter (Greysheet) Certified Coin Market Indicator. This is the number that indicated the average price for PCGS and NGC slabbed coins.
PCGS supposedly has the crossover rate data. It's possible that someone or several people have the listed crossover rates for many months. I'm sure someone has copies of the Greysheets going back fairly far.
I wonder if there is any correlation of a decreasing crossover rate with an increasing average selling price of NGC coins? Maybe a correlation could be found for crossover rates and the number of increasing/decreasing sight unseen bids for NGC coins?

The crossover rate has nothing to do with prices...we don't even consider it.
The CDN grading service index is based on the prices of a handful of very generic coins...1938-D Buffalos in 63 and 65 , for example. Im my opinion it is not a very accurate reflection of the difference in value of coins graded by the various services.
