1995 proof sets

What is the average price of a regular 1995 Pf set? Why is it so much higher than most of the other proof sets from the early-mid 90's? i've looked in three different price guides and saw 3 really different prices, Thanks for all the help.

Same reason the 1986 proof set sits head and shoulders above the other sets from the 1980s...nobody knows! Somewhere, somehow, the price starts to go up, then it just stays up from some sort of false perception of a lack of availability. There are just as many 1995 proof sets available at any given time on Ebay or at your local coin shop as any other year, and still people insist on paying a lot more for them! And 1997 isn't much better...I think it is a really interesting economic boggler...Supply and demand play no role in this mystery...if people would simply stop paying higher prices for them...the prices would come down, right? They'd probably go up! Then people would buy them more! Because that is what the collector mass does! It buys things when they get expensive thinking that expensive equals rare and valuable.
