  • Hi all
DH if you think those prices are cheap you should see the prices in the 1964 Blue Book I have. Sometimes I just flip through it and wonder what my parents were doing not collecting one or two gems from back then.
In 1964 that '36 proof set was $360. My '80 Red book showed $3000. In '81 it was $8750 same for the '82 Red Book. In 1991 the Red book had it listed for $5100. I guess there's always a time to buy and a time to sell.

2154 Bicentennial quarters left. I bought a cup of coffee this morning.
  • Speaking of Redbooks a dealer, Michael Aron Rare Coins was selling 1956 Redbooks at the Anaheim show for $28.00 I plan on buying one at his table (#615) at the L.B.show.
Friends are Gods way of apologizing for your relatives.
