The short answer: it was my ebay handle when I found out about this forum.

The long story: when I was about 10, my great grandmother gave me three coins she'd saved in a teapot on the shelf: a half dime, a three cent nickel and an 1877-S trade dollar. I was a bit into coins at the time and that made me really want to collect coins. I had dreams about being a dealer when I was in high school, but ended up in the Navy and college and the Navy again. Then I went into business for myself. All along I swore off coins because I knew how addictive they can be!

After getting out of the Navy, moving, buying and paying off my new business, I decided it was ok to get back into coins and subscribed to Coin World. Legend was offering a PCGS MS63 1875-S/CC trade dollar for a very reasonable price and shipped it to me on approval. From that moment on I was hooked again! The rest, as they say, is history! image
