This Bust Quarter Got Away From Me!

Darn...
I looked at this with 21 minutes left, and meant to place a decent bid.... probably $30 above what it went for. I forgot, and came back to it a few minutes after it closedimage1834 25c XF45 $232.50

Use a kitchen timer or set your watch alarm. That will prevent forgetting about auctions.

the only way you beat the sniper is over bid on the coin. I think its worth $250.00 nice looking coin. capped bust quarters are getting more expansive and harder to find in better grades

Think of it this way; you have no way of telling exactly how high this person bid, therefore, they might still have been high bidder had you remembered to place your bid.

    TomB,
Very true. I guess I help set the standard price lower than it would have been if I had just driven the other bidder up.

  • Hi. That coin doesn't look all that original to me. See what you think of this. It's a highly original quarter, a tad weak on the detail, but just has an exceptional "look" to it (in person).

    Sincerely,
