The ebay description shows "You read this correctly. 1976-D TYPE II PCGS MS67. This is the finest known of the date. This coin is used for
    several registry sets, ........ "

How can a coin "is used for several registry sets?" image

    3) Modern Pr/MS Type set Registry.

This coin is used for Mint State Ikes and mint State 20th century.

    there may be others.

One can use the same coin in mulitple sets as long as the sets are in different categories.

Also, it means the coin has broader appeal than just to Ike collectors (e.g., type collectors need it too).
