There is another thread currently running as to the true meaning of "origional". It applies in this case.
    I collect circulated U.S. silver

Not only is it AT, and take that from an expert, it should be sent to me immediately so I can maintain it for further scientific study and observation. A SIM analysis is essential to determine the root cause of this distardly deed, however, after a cross section is done the coin in question will be destroyed...

Those bell lines look awful good for such an obviously inferior coin.image

I think the franklin is to darn ugly to be AT and the rim rot on the Kennedys look like roll toning

I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.

AT? What difference does it make? It appears to be butt ugly.
Some refer to overgraded slabs as Coffins. I like to think of them as Happy Coins.

Morganbarber says it's original. It can't be that ugly without help. Since they usualy came from the Mint bright & shiny without fingerprints I have a problem with original.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

The only way that could be AT is if somebody spilled a pepsi on it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I say what a BEAUTY image
  • The one saving grace of this coin is that the strike is phenominal for an otherwise poorly struck date.
  • You wish she would pull your Frankie! Is that like, I have a bone to pick with you?
You can fool man but you can't fool God! He knows why you do what you do!
  • Not to worry. The coin is not AT. She can't pulll what she can't find. image

Just what I needed to see first thing in the morning!!!

BTW, I got an E-Mail from the Whackjob about the coin. I have to share...

    << <i>Marty,
Send me that 1955 Franklin and I can return it to new condition. I can
return the original luster and all the finger prints will be removed. I did
this on the gold plated SBA coins I won from Fred Weinberg. All the gold has
been removed as you can see in the auction. The luster on these coins are so
brilliant they appear black when scanned. I will send the coin back to you at
no cost. You will be amazed. >>

I'm sorry but i had to decline.
