...just as long as the days on the 1957 calendar match up with 2003.

PS- They look great! If I submitted myself, I would probably get a few rolls, one of the coins I have looks clean enough to be a 68, and it was taken from a roll and put into a drawer
I was really surprised.
dollars until this year have mostly been produced at the end of the year and there
is often a drop off in July for maintenance and vacations. Quarters now are only made
for ten weeks before a design change. Apparently the mint is still hoping to change
the nickel this year so maybe we'll have two designs for the year.
Is it true that first year designs always get horded?I know we have a billion 2000P/D Sacs out there and you hardly ever see them in circulation.
Went to the bank for rolls.Got em home and all 10 rolls were `02 Ds .lol
Oh well.Cherried about a roll of PLs from 8 of the rolls.Maybe two are 67-68.
Whats your earliest date Zincoln PL.
I,m sure I have some `99 Ds `00 Ds Maybe a `98 D.
Are these PLs mainly in the 1990s?The 80s Lincolns seem crudely made in comparison.
So far in the new century, quailty for Lincolns looks to have improved.
and the Denver in about 2%. They get increasingly common throughout the 80's with big
jumps in '86 and '88. Some of the '90's dates are up over 10% PL gems with PL being the
norm.
The copper memorials also appear as PL but some of these are very scarce in gem.

Total All Coins: 890,760,000
Since nickels have been struck, I'm guessing that any design change will be pushed back to 2004 at the earliest. We haven't had a design change in mid year (or any part of the year, for that matter) since 1938. I don't think it'll happen now.

Thanks for the advice; that didn't occur to me. I'll remember next time.
SemperFI:
I was under the impression that the mint production figures listed on their website were figures for coins that were struck for circulation, and did not include mint sets and bag and roll sales. However I'm not sure about that now, at least for the halves and Sacs. Would anyone know? Does Coin World or any other publication break it down?
Mint production figures for 2002 (website) show a total (Philly and Denver combined) of 7,597,610 Sacs struck. The 10 million mentioned above for collectors is not included. That's where my line of reasoning was coming from.
