2003 Sacs and Kennedys

I've ordered rolls of the P&D Sacs and Kennedys from the Mint for 2003.

First of all, they got here like lightning. I ordered them online, and had them in Texas from Memphis within three days! Gave the Mint a Positive for that!

Second--and more important: I recall people distressed by the quality of the MS products the Mint has been issuing the last year or so. I did not want to open these bullet rolls, but the end pieces looked very clean. No hit marks to be seen. The fields were clear and the strikes were good.

Has the Mint improved quality control for these products? How have yours looked?

My 2002 Kennedy halves were horrific. I only got one MS66 out of it.

  • Not only clean, but error free! Error collectors are having a tough time finding new inventory, its raising the value of errors dramatically! According to Coin World, off center coins are tough to find over 10%, raising some from the $3 range to $500 recently!

I ordered 2 rolls each,"P"&"D", Sac Dollars on Monday and received them on Wednesday. Broke a roll of each up for my collector friends and all the coins were nice looking. They were a lot better than the 2002 coins, a lot better.
