how rare is a 1852 3cs?

I'm just wondering are their fake 1852 3cs or is it just a common date and no one would fake it?

Its the most common date of the Variety 1 (1851-1853). Breen's encyclopedia makes no mention of counterfeits for this date. Looking over the mintage data, looks like it is the most common date of ANY 3 cent silver. 18 Million made, vs. next closest is the 1853 with 11 Million. None of the later years exceeded 2 Million.
