Its the most common date of the Variety 1 (1851-1853). Breen's encyclopedia makes no mention of counterfeits for this date. Looking over the mintage data, looks like it is the most common date of ANY 3 cent silver. 18 Million made, vs. next closest is the 1853 with 11 Million. None of the later years exceeded 2 Million.
The reason i ask is becasue i was just looking thru submissions last night and found this one 341013 is that a PCGS mistake or are their really fakes of a common date out there?
