Simply Amazing

My most amazing find of a lifetime. When my grandfathers estate was settled, each of the grandchildren were allowed to take one personal item, I chose his belt buckle, this was about 25 years ago. 4 Years ago, I started collecting coins and remembered that belt buckle had a Morgan silver dollar in it, I gently removed the coin from the ring and found myself the proud owner of a 1893 S Morgan in EF condition, Reverse is MS60.
From what I was told and remember, he had that belt and buckle since the beginning of time. My aunts think he had worn it for 40-50 years. I can only wonder about the condition of the coin when he first started wearing it. Pretty amazing. I've still got the coin and it's staying right where he left it, I put the coin back in the buckle.....

" I hoard coins, that's what I do, it's my nature"
