    Why would someone want a slab holder that doesn't allow you to see the coin? You might as well put them in a sock! image

    They probably were made for something else but were repurposed into this. I don't see why a slab person would want one except as a nice wrapper when giving a slab to someone.

    I've seen these before. The guy was selling these (and others without the flag design) with the explanation that "when you send someone a $1500 coin in the mail, it sort of stinks to have it in one of those corrugated mailers, so I had these made." If that is true, I think he had a great idea!

    He also made them to transport his coins to and from. Ever had a slab break in transport?

    I think they would be a nice touch when mailng a $1,000+ coin. I wonder if he has a patent on them? If not, he should really get one.

    I bought some just to get my coins to and from shows and through airports. Also prevents scratching the holders.
