I know you folks hate ICG with a passion but how about this 1880-S graded MS67!

I myself don't hate ICG with a passion. If I think that the coin stands for the grade, I buy it.
They were kind of tough when they first opened thier doors. I had corresponded quite a bit with them, trying to get them, or keep them, from being too loose, or falling peril to the crap that happens when you sheet grade.
I guess they had a better idea, but they have lost a lot of respect with experienced collectors.

I don't hate ICG. That's a gorgeous coin with the kind of bright vibrant colors I like.

That coin doesn't look AT to anybody? That green and blue area looks funny to me.

Only a close-minded individual summarily dismisses a coin for it's holder. There is lots of potential value in coins residing in holders other than PCGS & NGC! Any coin that catches my attention for eye appeal is always given a good look. The reverse of that coin looks super. Do you have the obverse scan/pic??

Here is the Obverse. I am just learning how to photograph coins with a digital camera. I have had a hard time capturing the true colors of this coin.

Yes, I bought this coin at a local show(Vicksburg, MS). It looks like an MS67 to me. I must admit, I have trouble grading Morgans above MS66. I know Jack Lee, maybe I should ask him. But I do love the coin!!

It would be hard to find a better resource than Jack. If he confirms 67, then it is a LOCK! Regardless, it is a very attractive coin and I can see why you bought it. I would be quite proud as well.

Ich denke, daß deine Münze sehr nett ist! (nice coin)

I just picked up a "colorful" '23 NGC (old holder) 65 Peace Dollar for $160. From the pic it's hard to tell what I got, but FrattLaw says
it's worth it.
