Sell your PCGS MS69 State Quarters. (Whilst you can)

I just sent in over 100 state quarters, in what will soon be referred to as the "Miracle Submission"!!!! People will gasp in wonder as they ask each other, "How could he find so many MS69 Quarters?". My new moniker will be "Ostrich Eye Woodie". (Since Rick Snow already uses "Eagle Eye"). mdwoods

Did they go economy or bulk???
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    Hey Don Quiote,

Did you grade these coins before or after you attacked the windmill? image

  • Mark,

That's an amazing coincidence. I just sent in a collection of nice coins for my freebie submission that will soon be known as the Fantastic Four, with apologies to Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. One Lousiana quarter, one Lincoln cent, one Jefferson nickel, and one Washington quarter. Now, in about three months, I might even get the results from PCGS. I understand things are a wee bit slow. image

Haha, at least one other person here can grade coins.

My fantastic four came back with 3 bodybags and a MS67 SBA - nothing to be overly proud about.

Mdwoods - I know you are good, but doubt you will get many MS69's - how about starting a raffle for all of those 67's and 68's (and 65's and 66's?) you get in this submission?

My first submission of four from the Collectors Club was three ANACS coins in AU-58 to MS-62, and an NGC MS-61 gold piece. The ANACS were bodybagged twice for cleaning (bogus), and once for AT (bogus). The NGC gold was dropped to AU-58 and slabbed. Rub was debatable, but the value was not enough to dicker with.

This time around, I feel better as all four coins are moderns, two that I cherrypicked (I think) out of a 2002 Mint Set and two that I cherrypicked (I think) out of a 1997 Mint Set.
