A dealer once asked me if I noticed any three-legged buffalos on the bourse,to which I replied,"...no,but I saw alot of two-legged jackasses..."

    scary.

i just wish that instead of trying to "fix" allegedly "problem" coins, they would just holder the danged things w/ an appropriate net-grade or caveat.

    problems happen w/ coins!

  • Actually, in and old Q&A, someone suggested it and David said that they would look into the feasibility of a service similar to NCS.

With a Brillo Pad and some elbow grease, any of us can open a curating service.image

If it turns out to be anything like NCS, this tie with PCGS will be excellent. This is not a matter of "fixing problem coins," rather a matter of keeping perfectly good coins from deterioration due to former mishandling. Check out This Thread from across the street. There are many more examples.
