What do you look for on a resume before hiring a grader?

Do you hire someone based on their resume or do they have to pass a certain skill test? Also what would you suggest to someone looking to become a grader?

Our graders are the cream of the crop and they are among the highest paid people in the coin industry. In years gone by, many dealers have tested...we actually have a teast grader program in our computer system whereby people can grade the coins, but their grade does not count. We then later compare the test grader results with the final grades.

At this point, we know who the good graders are. If we lose a grader, or need more graders, the skilled people call us up and offer their services. And we would also call potential graders to see if they are interested. The truly skilled, professional coin dealing circle is pretty small and pretty close knit. We all know one another and we all have a pretty good idea of everyone's grading and dealing skills. It's a tough club to break into.
