My latest acquisition.

It looks like somebody gave her a swollen eye, then her ear grew a tumor and somebody tried to put her out of her misery with a shotgun.

I like it, though.

Corrosion - check!
Altered surfaces - check!
Cleaning - check!
Scratched - check!
Rim damage - check!

I think the only section on the PCGS bodybag that wouldn't be checked is the "questionable authenticity" field!

It looks like the hits are from nail heads. I've seen a number of coins like this and wonder if people used to like hitting nails on their points to make impressions of nail heads on coins.

1809 Cohen-3 rarity-1. To bad it wasn't a Cohen-1. That would be a cherry even in this shape.
