I am a newbie here and wish to thank all of you for superb information, sites, humor, and comradery. I hope to add to the value here in the future. I also became extremely dissapointed with an ebayer selling CENTSLESS high quality NTC Morgans for fractions on the dollar. I even wrote to NTC and challenged their CEO to respond to me for what I believe to be a disgrace to the industry. I bought about 7K worth of their coins and am returning ALL of them. The grades were from MS64-66 and what I received was BU to MS63---most were 2-3 grades lower and cleaned as well. I have been reading this thread for a while now and loved Anaconda's story of how he got his money back from the Seller in FL. (the same one selling on ebay now). I'm a collector and thought the ebayer sold on consignment or got some sort of windfall and was willing to sell sometimes less than 1/10th of trends.

Yep, centsles is well known on these boards, and not for the greatest of reasons. Hope you get all your money back...sounds like a lot of coins!

Masta---Fortunately I paid for them on a CC. Two of them were Scarec and Extremely rare---21S, MS66 Peace and 89O Morgan, MS66---paid 4,500 for two of them---I'm sick about it now---lesson learned and won't happen again.

Welcome to the boards John sorry to hear about your bad purchase experience but I am sure many of us could also share your tale of woe. We hopefully learn from our mistakes.

I for one have made the same mistake in the past (not from that seller) and returned the coin and they gave me a full refund. As you said.....Lesson learned
