1916 SLQ?

If i had a 1916 SLQ that didn't have a date on it what would it be worth? say it's slabbed by PCGS as a AG-3

If there is no date, how can you be sure it is not a 1917 Type 1?

Their are identifiying marks that show if it's a 1916 or a 1917.

That's a tough one, but I would say that it's worth at least $400.

I thnk the dateless ones that I have seen Jay Cline sell are normally pricd in the $200 to $250 range but it has been awhile sinc I have seen Jay.

I just looked it up. On the 1916, the top reed is cut so Liberty's head can stick through. On the 1917, the reed above the head is complete so the head is slightly smaller. There are a few other things but this is the easiest one to see in low grade.
