Do images still delete when listing cards into another set.

When the Baseball HOF set was posted on the registry I was going to cross over some of my (1970, 1972, & 1974 HOF player) cards from my yearly sets into the HOF set. BTW ... The same card can be listed in both sets. When I listed the cards in the HOF set, my images from the other sets disappeared.

My question is, Does this still happen?

It has happened to me as recently as 2 weeks ago. A new set comes up and I input my card (one that is in another set) and the image icon disappears on the card in the earlier set. It's frustrating to have to go back and put the scan back in. Its not the fastest thing in the world.

    Jeff,

    I was afraid of that!

    Thanks for the tip.

Here is a email I received from BJ about this...

I'm not sure why it's doing that, so I'll need to file a report to our IS department and see if we can get it fixed. In the meantime, your best bet is to duplicate the images on your hard drive and make sure they have a different name than the original image. Use the new image file for the new set you are updating.
  • I've updated my HOF Baseball set with cards listed in other annual sets with no problem. I just select the same scan from my hard drive and upload it again. I believe that I've done this in the past month. Maybe you are doing something different, but this has always worked for me. Hope that helps.
