My grades are in bold next to the PCGS grade. Man, I blew some on this submission bad - even a body bag (only my second one ever).

Lines 1 through 4 are the wild neon toners discussed in this thread. These are the ones I was really worried about getting BB'd. They didn't!image

The two Frankies are the ones posted in this thread. I don't know how to grade Franklins (that's pretty obvious!) so, as I said in that thread, I used the WAG method to come up with 67CAM on both. They sure looked like cameos to me.

I'm surprised at line #5. I thought that was a lock for cameo, and those I DO know how to grade. Looks like they thought it wasn't quite there and gave it a point bump for appeal (they do that frequently). Line #6 and #8 were iffy cameos, so I'm not too surprised on those.

Line #13 was a finger-cross coin.image I thought it had a shot at DCAM, but these are just so, so tough!

So, as usual, some good, some bad. More disappointed in myself than PCGS.

I see you were going for my PR62 with #7, too bad it didn't make it. image

I'm hoping my invoice clears today, it was received on the 12/16. When I called Friday it was in final verfiction and should be done any day now (PCGS time within the next 2 weeks!)...

I still have a couple of week until my AH's clear... Nice invoice...
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    Marty,

It's damned hard to get a PR62. I keep sending them dogs, and I still haven't been able to unseat you. I've got one ready to go, though, that is SURE to grade lower than yours. It's a complete disaster!image

IF your invoice was from 12/19, who and how much did you have to payoff to get it back so fast???image

  • I just heard from PCGS that econ submissions are taking aroud 40 business days. That's 2 months. My 3 orders are at 25 business days so I am a little over half way after 1 month.

Well, mine's only at 33 business days and counting. Maybe I can just hum till they are done?

Oh, and before I forget, I wanted to say thanks to Charlie Kahler for checking in on this submission for me. When I sent this in I was worried about the neons, so I called and gave him a heads up about them and their origin to reduce the chance they'd get bagged. He was right on top of it.image

Of course, I'll have to give him some crap about that Frankie.image

  • I dont know what the problem is with the rest of you, but they have never taken more than 19 days to return my coins, Im talking economy!

    WSM,

When was the last time you submitted? In the last couple months? If so, give us a submission number.

Russ, are the two AH's the ones you put up the other night? #5 and #6

BTW - The 68 was a nice catch.
