Regardless of its checkered history (holed and otherwise abused) I wouldn't mind owning this coin.

    That is my favorite coin, of all-time. Thanks for LINKING it for us to see. Those "problems" are not offensive at all, IMHO.

  • AGREED! A very nice coin. And it is nice to see one again, because it's reverse was the model for the FE cent, another CLASSIC -- wow, I wish I had an 1856 FE and one of these puppies too.
