Any thoughts on where this coin will go, I'm considering sending the coins in for slabbing and putting them away for a couple of years. PR69's.

I think there will always be a market for them - they're beautiful coins and I'm glad they did them in the dollar size so you can truly appreciate their beauty. As for where they're going? I think they're pretty much there. You saw an upswell in their prices early on, then they stabilized. All depends on where the modern commemm market heads in the next few years I think.

I think they received a substantial amount of interest at first, but the interest will probably wane with age and prices will stay about the same for quite some time to come. The initial hype and frenzy are about over so the long process of gaining value with age is beginning. Sorry, my crystal ball is a bit hazy.

any truth to the rumors about somebody in Florida who was hoarding and buy every Buffalo dollar they could get there hands on? or was this a myth? A local dealer told me this story.
