Great "coin" jobs

In a recent Numismatic News electronic news letter they were talking about "great coin jobs." I was wondering if any of us here have ever had a job were they were able to search coins for finds. I myself was once a manager for a major fast food restaurant and the best find I ever had was a $20 gold certificate from 1922. Obviously the dealers here can't use their current jobs as examples.

  • My dad was a banker...not a big collector but he used to bring rolls and rolls of halves home in the late 60's/early 70's mining for silver....made a killing selling this stuff back in the great Hunt silver rush.
