Not an expert but can give you some general info. The most under valued are the ones that are not designated as a full head. You can look around and find some 80% fullhead that do not carry the FH designation that are really nice. But these quarters are very tricky. You can find a full head that is not a fully struck coin. Alot of times the details in the shield can be missing or soft. If you want a full head(hairline completely defined and an ear hole) you need to look at the total coin. You want the head and the shield fully struck. Again a fully struck shield can be difficult to find even on a full head coin. 1930 has the most examples of FH and most of these coins do have a strong overall strike. Steve
Coinrookie, thanks for the info. Non FH seem like such bargains but maybe everyone wants a FH. Personally I rather have a great strike and the heck with FH.
Gilbert, YES!!!
Placid, the overdate is pricy in 64-65 so I may have to settle for one or the other. Will see how the auctions go.
DesertLizard, you could zap a PM to Tonelover, aka Jon R. at RCONH, he really loves and collects the series so he would probably have some thoughts to share.
