Hey, DAM, it looks like you just got some serious competition in Two Centers.

    That's a nice set.

It also has the "other" 1869 in MS66RD. Nice to see it pop up. Wonder whether that person is a forum member? Any idea about that?

    Russ,

You know it wasn't long ago that the Two Cent Set was wide open. If this keeps up, we'll be able to challenge the Merc boys and girls to a softball game. imageimageimage

    DAM,

The number of current sets has nearly doubled just since I've been watching them. This has me worried because I need to complete my set while I can still get them without skipping frills like food and electricity.image

  • I'm curious. Do people like you who have complete or nearly complete sets
of high quality coins object to people like me who have just a few coins of
lower grades that they register? I have no false assumption that my sets
are actually anywhere near "the finest", but I just like listing them as I get
them. I should be adding 2 uncirculated 2 cents to my set soon, so at least
it will look a little better!

    Robert,

Welcome aboard! I would only object if you knocked me further down in the rankings.image Register those puppies. The more the merrier!image

BTW, my set doesn't qualify as a "nearly complete sets of high quality coins", but DAM's sure does. He's top banana, and my neck is sore from staring way, way up at him!

Welcome Robert! There are a couple who object, but don't mind them. image

Hey, we all have to start somewhere. Plus it's fun watching your set(s) grow. There are some that get a kick out of knocking someone down a notch, when they add a coin. image

If I'm not mistaken, if you create a Two Cent Set, that will make an even dozen sets registered. Waahoo! Now we can field a softball team against the Merc boys and girls. imageimage

    DAM,

We already have enough for a softball team. Or, were you planning to stick me on the bench?image

    NO SIR!

I thought you would pitch. Having 12 on the team allows for relief, if you'd need it. image

Also, it's going to be a hard fought game, with all the players the Merc folks have. We may have injuries. image
