The Pops on 75-S Jeffersons in PR69DCAM are taking off.

There are now 74 in PR69DCAM when there used to be only 53 just a few weeks ago. Anyone else have more precise numbers. It looks like the 74-S is up as well. Is this a mistake?

........i would assume it's the result of recent sales which have grabbed the attention of collectors/dealers. we smirked here about a year ago when an eBay seller listed a 1975 PCGS PR69DCAM for about $150-$199, which didn't sell. that was around the time when prices really started moving. the dates to watch are 1969-1972. there aren't many graded at the top of the sheet and that seems an accurate reflection of the difficulty in finding nice coins with adequate frost for the DCAM designation. watch those pops and dump 'em if they start climbing on those dates.

I think you will see the pops on all of the proof Jeffs start increasing, especially in the 68-75 years...not sure how many 71s will make it 69DCAM though. Jeffs remain the toughest of all issues to get 69DCAM for 1971. Look at what the pops for 1972s in 69DCAM have done in the last couple of weeks. This series is no loner overlooked....guess that means Roosies will have their day soon!

The only mistake is the ever-evolving grading standard joke PCGS is selling!!!!! What a bunch of crap!!!!! Start cracking out all your 67 & 68DCAMs and resubmit them for an instant 69DCAM. Why are people falling for and putting up with this BS? If you're a collector save your money!! If you're a seller/dealer you've just hit paydirt with the substandard grading BS that PCGS is pushing on the unsuspecting public!!!! Loosing more and more respect everyday...........
