  • I think it's a cool representation of an early 20th century frenchman artist. It's obviously not real appealing, but is awesome in its own respect.

    A few years ago there was an "artist" who caused a stir with his "art" of Jesus on the cross floating in urine that was paid for with tax dollars.

    So using that standard, I'd have to say this is art.

    Obviously its mutilation. There is nothing artistic about defacing a coin in such a way.
