Collectorama Show is now SOLD OUT

The February 21-23, 2003 Lakeland, Florida Collectorama Coin and Currency
Show is now SOLD OUT and a waiting list has been started in case we have
a last minute cancellation. Dealers without tables are welcome to attend our
dealer's only Special Bourse on Thursday, February 20th, from 4 P.M. to
8 P.M. Non-tabled dealers gain entry with a $25.00 (minimum) donation to
Florida Youth Ranch. A business card and resale number are required for
entry. Thursday's at Collectorama are always an active wholesale day.
The public is welcome to attend on Friday and Saturday, from 10 A.M. to
6 P.M. and on Sunday from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. There is a $3.00 Admission
Fee (Good for the weekend) but present this notice to Show Registration
for FREE ADMISSION. The Collectorama Show also "buys" the parking lot
so there are no parking fees for Collectorama Show attendees.
Lakeland is located about half way between Tampa and Orlando, and is close
to many Central Florida tourist attractions such as Disney, Epcot, MGM,
Sea World, Busch Gardens, and several other popular family attractions.
Take I-4 from Tampa (east) or Orlando (west) to Exit 18 (Route 98) and go
south. Route 98 will turn to the left (east) continue going straight on South
Florida Avenue into downtown, and The Lakeland Center is located just west
of downtown at 700 West Lemon Street.
The host hotel for Collectorama is The Baymont Inn (I-4 Exit 19) and they
offer rooms for show attendees in the $49-56 range. Mid-Feburary is a very
busy time and "in season" for this area, and if you have not made your room
reservations you need to do so ASAP. If you have a problem getting a room
ask for Debbie Godo Turner (hotel manager) who will try and help you.
With the rare coin, rare currency, and precious metals all showing a HOT
MARKET we expect a very strong show in February. Collectorama also
welcomes dealers and collectors of all Neat Collectibles to attend, and there
is a lot of neat stuff at Collectorama besides all the great Coins, Currency
and Bullion material. Many of the dealers who attend Collectorama are always
looking to buy or trade, so feel free to bring along any type of material to sell.
