    $1000 is laughable but some Hobo nickels I've seen are great works of art. Some are rather astonishing..

    $1000 each? I wonder how many he has? lol Very collectable depending who the artist was. I know of a collector who has a complete collection (one for every date) in hobo nickels. It would be a great collection to see.

    Coqui,thank you for providing my ebay auction chuckle-of-the-day...this writer is a pretty good writer...His hobo took nowhere near 100 hours to make but if the seller gets the $1000 i'll bet you see a few more offered by him that look pretty much like it...

    Here's a pic of an especially elusive one that i'd pay a handsome price for if it were ever captured by an artist on the Buffalo five cent piece...
