Distressing. I basically don't like to see that. But I liked the Indian Pendant years ago worn by the teller at my bank. She had a $10 GOLD coin in a protective gold frame hanging from a gold chain around her neck. When she waited on me I told her I was a collector. She was leaving that week and needed money. I bought the eagle and I paid her fairly. It was a 1909-S. It pays to speak up sometimes.

Oh, just thought of something. I've seen those silver rounds with a horrible buffalo nickel rendering on it. Maybe it's one of those and not a real coin!
I've seen some wierd stuff with real coins...but this is not a real coin!
I've always liked the obverse of the buffalo nickel. It exemplifies the strength of native Americans in my opinion. This type of jewelry, as long as they use rounds or modern type struck coins.. actually promotes Buffalo Nickels
