    all depends on what you want and where you get it. You are best to buy off someone who makes it. They suually are cheaper. If you cant find anyone to build one expect to pay $100 more probably. Your best bet would be to do a little research on a the web sites of companies. They hav eso many idfferent ones that you would be able to figure out what you want and what you can actually get(usually two different things)

    My parent's just bought one (tower) last week for $600.00 and that was a new not built by someone at their house....

    why don't you just upgrade your current pc?
    you can get a pentium 4 2.54 Ghz, 512 RAM, motherboard, surround sound system (with 4 boxes & a subwoofer) for about $800

So If you can't find someone to build it then you should expect to pay $100 more. If you still dont understand lmk and I will explain it in simplier terms.
