I think the obverse is rather attractive, but I'm not real crazy about the reverse. But over all, a nice coin.

I saw that one as well and I like it. I think a Board member had it for sale. Anyway, its not just market acceptable, that's real honest to god toning IMO. Keep it tucked away, original toned Peace $ are going to be making a huge jump in price. Especially with the crazy prices I'm willing to pay.
What did PCGS say the grade was? I'll guess MS63.
By the way, Neil, I got that 24 from LRC, the one I just outbid you on. You got lucky, it's nice but not nearly as nice as the pics, IMO. Not that much color. But I'll trade you that one for this one. The 24 is probably a MS64/65 coin.
Michael, that was me originally. I was waffling back on forth on whether I'd sell it or not and decided to just keep it. I just figured I wouldn't run into another like this for a long while. Oh, they graded it a 64. I was hoping to squeek one more grade up, but figured it would be a 64. Of course, that's with me not knowing how to grade these things well. That other one I showed you back then came back as AU55, but I really do not agree with it. The fields are continuous luster and the devices don't show any wear I can see.
I hate to hear that the other one wasn't quite as nice. I figured it would be a subtle coloring, but enough to notice.
