Has anyone purchased the 2003 Silver Eagles and noticed the doubling of the date and several letters in Liberty on the obverse. The halo effect like the coin is depressed with a noticable mark on the sun. The reverse side shows signs of doubling in the bottom letter of silver one-dollar. 
For a contemporary coin, it is one of the worst strikes I've seen, or a batch of Double Dies! 
Sent a few in for grading with a note attached to explain what I see with a 16x loop! Keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best, or cry like a baby seeing the worst strikes on a dollar since the poorly struck Peace dollars!

Yes, I bought some 2003 silver eagles and noticed the same thing. I am very interested in what PCGS will say about them. When you get your coins back please post the results. Thank you.
