OT why don't auction links open a new window?

For the past few months everytime i clicked on a link to an auction, pic, website it always opened a new window now it just opens on the window i already have open and have to click back everytime i want to go to the page i was just looking at. What happened? and how do i fix it? i don't think i changed any setting but if i did please tell me how to change it back this is getting very annoying. Thanks for the help.
