Submitted 1st Toned Morgan - Guess Grade

Today I submitted my first raw toned morgan to PCGS. Anyone want to guess the grade? I am new to grading so I would guess MS 62 or 63. Am I close? What exactly should I look for when trying to grade a raw coin.

I would call it a MS62, but with the nice toning, I think PCGS will give it a MS63 grade.

MS62, possibly AU58 looks like some slight rub on some of the high points.

Assuming that the dark spots are toning and not dings, I would guess MS64.

I'm going to go conservative with a 62. The dings on the cheek are distracting, and the rims are a little ragged, especially on the reverse...but a nice strike and nice eye appeal. Depending on the dings on the cheek and how they feel that day, it could go 62-63 I think.

AU58 or Body bag, just my guess. I hope I'm wrong. Nothing personal, just all my coins I first submitted to PCGS had a high percentage of getting bagged. I was just learning then.
